Hardwork does pay off. What started as a rudimentary cooking app has now grown into a global phenomenon on Google Play. Cookbook is now featured 188 times on Google play homepages across 90+ countries in the world. It's ranked in top 5, health and fitness category, in 57 countries.  We are super excited to be ranked #1 in India. This a proud moment for all of us here at Cookbook.

Cookbook has been on a roll in the last 4 months; We partnered with Sony for Android TV. Cookbook will be bundled with Sony's android tvs scheduled to hit the market early August.

We were invited to Google I/O 2015. I/O turned out to be abso-freaking-lutely awesome. We were among the only 3 Indian companies to be showcased at Google I/O. Cookbook's ability to perform on multiple formfactors made us part of a case-study for Ubiquitous computing by Timothy Jordan. Cookbook runs on phones, tablets, android wear and android tvs. We returned from I/O with tonnes of humbling moments.

Post I/O, we were hard at work to integrate all the insights we had picked up. One fine morning we received an email intimating us of being reviewed by the Play editorial team. They wanted us to change a couple of things in the app and on the store. A few days later, we woke up to the Top Developer badge. Cookbook is the 2nd  developer to receive the Top developer badge in India. The added responsibility made us work even harder; delivering the best user experience possible has become our atmost priority.

Reviews have been pouring in from across the globe; most of them positive. We are delighted to've been able to put smiles on people's faces; especially children.
